“Reports that say that something hasn’t happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns — the ones we don’t know we don’t know.”
The world can be divided in to 2 groups of people, those who are ‘eco-sensitive’, and those who will need to become eco-sensitive. At an unconscious level, everybody is eco-sensitive though consciously only a few express it as a character. This may eventually turn out to be a whim of my eternal optimism but i’ll stick by this.
In this age of information overload, there is a dilemma concerning the superficial understanding on various issues. Everyone feels that they know enough about things, but the truth of the matter is that superficial information is often misleading, which can prove to be more dangerous than not knowing about the issues at all. What are these issues?
Through the discussions on this blog, I will convey information, and my interpretation of the information in an effort for others and myself to understand interdependence (of biotic and abiotic components of the external environment; and of body and mind of the internal environment), and also our possible role in the scheme of things.
This understanding can be reached through many means – political, social, biological, economical, physics, religious or cultural or any other subject. Because ‘the essence’ is constant in all these approaches. There is no subject that is independent by itself. That is why the posts on this blog will be from varying subjects, which can, in their own rights bring about the realization. Once the unity is felt and the beauty appreciated, it would become impossible to revert back to violent and destructive ways.
The articles will be on facts, figures, experiences and reports; but the interpretation is what the essence of the blog is.
